The Jewish Scriptures contain many prophecies of Jesus. A prophecy is a prediction that was written years before it was fulfilled. These prophecies were written in the Jewish Scriptures about the future Messiah of the Jewish people. These predictions were written by multiple authors, in numerous books, over approximately 1,000 years.
Bible scholars say there are over 100 predications in the Jewish Scriptures regarding the coming Messiah that Jesus fulfilled. Other scholars list 300 prophecies of Jesus. The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the reliability of the Septuagint version of the Jewish Scriptures (both of which have been proven to exist prior to the time Jesus walked on the earth) you can be assured that these prophecies were not “conspired” after-the-fact.
“Jesus said to them, ‘This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.’” (Luke 24:44).

What is the probability that all of Jesus’ prophecies would be fulfilled by one man? When we study just three of the more specific prophecies that were later fulfilled in Jesus Christ, it is quite stunning.
Let’s take the prophecy that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem. The odds of that happening is 1 in 100,000. The odds that Jesus would be a miracle worker is 1 in 100,000. The odds that Jesus would be crucified is 1 in 1,000,000.
These statistical odds set the Bible apart from other holy books. Take on a study of the prophecies of Jesus and see if you agree that Jesus fulfilled these prophecies that were predicted about Him.
