Other Names of Jesus

• Author and Perfecter of our Faith - “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2).
  
  
• Lamb of God – “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, ‘Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!’” (John 1:29).
  
  
• Resurrection and Life – “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?’" (John 11:25-26).
  
  
• Savior – “She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21).
  
  
• Way, Truth, Life – “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’ (John 14:6).

• Bread of Life – “Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty’” (John 6:35).
  
  
• Good Shepherd –"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep” (John 10:11).
  
  
• High Priest – “For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people” (Hebrews 2:17).
  
  
• Mediator – “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men—the testimony given in its proper time” (1 Timothy 2:5-6).
  
  
• True Vine – "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener” (John 15:1).
