Andrew, like his brother Simon Peter, was one of Jesus’ twelve disciples. And, like Peter, he was the son of Joanna and Jona. Andrew was also fishermen on the Sea of Galilee, just like his brother, Peter, and like their father before them.

Four disciples, Andrew, Peter, James and John were fishermen prior to being called by Jesus to follow Him.
