As a believer, you don’t have to pray for what you already have. Act on it, and enjoy it. You only have to do one thing to get the infilling of the spirit. Receive it by Faith! Stop praying for what is already yours. If you will act, you will begin to flow in the power of God that was received on the day of Pentecost. All God is waiting for is you to start moving in it, because you’ve got it. If you’re saved, the infilling is there for you. Ask God to open your eyes so that you can see that all you have to do is receive by faith. You don’t have to tarry or wait. There’s no scripture where it says you have to feel something. Instead, you’ve got to receive – (an active voice – which means ACCEPT) what you already have from the hand of God. It’s all a free gift and it’s been lying on the table. Now you can pick it up, walk it out, and let it make a man or a woman out of you instead waiting and remaining a spiritual infant. And when you’ve accepted the infilling of Christ, you’re going to start walking it out. You must receive the POWER that Jesus Christ said was coming and is now here for you. Otherwise, you’ll end up a spiritual pygmy and when you die, you’ll be no bigger in the spirit that you are right now. God also gave you another free gift called righteousness. Just accept it and keep on accepting it. Move in it. Then begin to walk it out in your life. He gave you the beginnings of God-life and now it’s the infilling of spirit you need. Give God your tongue and receive that PRAYER POWER, make it YOURS so your petitions and requests can be directed by him and become very effective, dynamic!  | God`s Spirit Present With You |
Yes, God's Spirit is present within me and guides me. Many a times, i ask the Spirit to guide me. Sometimes some things are so tempting that i feel like having my way in getting things done but as i rely on the Spirit, i automatically forget the temptation and i wonder how come i tried to come out of temptation. At that very moment of temptation my mind is totally under control of God's spirit. This is not only with eating (every now and then ie inbetween meals), watching TV, reading newspaper or using office stationery, talking during coffee breaks... All these things are so wordly. During such a situation,the Holy Spirit guides me. While cooking or while doing office work, or while amidst my relatives, i keep on talking to the God's spirit and i am guided in the right path. This is so continuous and the Holy Spirit is into my life since i was 14 years and i feel totally lost if my guide, counsellor, friend ie God's spirit is not with me. Thank You Holy Spirit May God Bless you all and i pray that whoever reads my comments to be filled with God's Spirit to guide them in the right path.  | The Holy Spirit |
We cannot be like Jesus on our own; we need his spirit to help us do that. The
Greek word that Jesus uses to describe Holy Spirit is Paraclete. Paraclete means to come alongside of
someone. A Paraclete was someone who was called into court to help the accused, or someone called into the
army to give the troops courage, or called in to give advice in a difficult situation. It means Consultant,
Comforter, Strengthener, Trail-guide. The Holy Spirit does all of those things. That means that when I'm
tempted to do something I know isn't right, there's a voice that goes off in my head, and it's the Spirit. It says,
`Scott, I know you think you want this thing, but deep, deep down I know you want more. I know you want an
abundant life; I know you want eternal life. I know you want to avoid this sin.` Notice what the Holy Spirit does
not say to me. The Holy Spirit does not say, ?You rotten little creep, you should feel ashamed being tempted
like that.? That's Red Legs talking. The Spirit says, ?Scott, deep down I know you want more than this, so don't
settle for this temptation.? That's the Holy Spirit helping me to live the abundant life.
Now, as I've said before, the Holy Spirit doesn't overpower us or force us to follow Jesus' teachings. He just
nudges us. And our job is to cooperate with those nudges.By: Scott Dudley
