Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30)
The promise of this parable is that when we do invest in God`s kingdom the result is that we have joy. The master says this interesting thing to the five and the two talent guy. He says, "Enter your master`s joy." The reward for investing in the kingdom is joy. Because when we do, it gets us out of ourselves and life becomes something bigger than just me, my wants, my needs, my stuff, my comfort, my my. Oh my my. Life expands to be about how I get to work side by side with Jesus in making up there come down here. Me. Little old angst ridden, fear driven, insecure, one talent me, gets to partner with Jesus in making his kingdom prayer come true in making his will get done on earth, here, as it is in heaven. Me, little old me gets to do that. Not bad for a hick from the sticks from Eastern Washington.

Money: Charity Not Greed
You cannot serve two masters for you will love one of them and hate the other or he will be devoted to one and despise the other.  You cannot be slaves of GOD AND MONEY MATTHEW 6:24.  So when we love GOD we will give freely without any problem.

Use money, tainted as it is,to win your friends.
But pay attention for China to surround her national borders by strong firewalls in order to disturb exchanges of messages by InterNets.Deng Xiaoping(1904-97)who had stayed in Europe for seven years, sent many students to USA through the Chinese government. Now they return to their country knowing Jesus in USA.They are the elite of China. They will reform their country.

Charity and NOT Greed

We, people often think that those rich and wealthy people are not holy. Or if you really want to be holy, you shouldn't be keeping money or earning twice as much as you should and you should have NOTHING. When we earn so much or when we hold money in our hands we started to think that we're doing something wrong. But how can you possibly help those in need if you have nothing to give? If you started to earn twice as much as you earn 5 years ago, and you feel uncomfortable about it, think again! Ask yourself! How are you spending your money? How much are you giving to God? 2%? 5%? 10%? it doesn't matter how much you are giving away to God and to help other people. What matters is that you won't forget to pass your blessings to other people. Isn't it wonderful to be a blessing to others? Extend your family. If before, you're working so hard for your wife and children, then why don't you give yourself a new goal? Expand your defintion of family! Family don't have to be "same blood". Work to help NOT ONLY those who share your surname but also those who needs help. Always reach out your hand!

God bless!

Love your neighbor like you love yourself

Love sums up all that Jesus and the father command.

Does this mean bring food to your neighbor? Or does this mean give your neighbor their space? Maybe both? And don't rush into relationships? That's how I like to be loved. A rushed relationship gets very confusing. For me, every day is a new day and I question what I'm supposed to do for family and if neighbors come around, I try my best to be loving and friendly. This seems to be the best I can do. Oh and when people lose their homes to disaster I give goods or money.

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." ( Matthew 6:19-21)

"You lack one thing; go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me." ( Mark 10:21)

"Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions." ( Luke 12:15)

"The land of a rich man produced abundantly. And he thought to himself, 'What should I do, for I have no place to store my crops?' Then he said, ' I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, 'Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.' But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life is being demanded of you. And the things you have prepared, whose will they be?' So it is with those who store up treasures for themselves but are not rich toward God." ( Luke 12:16-21)

"Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you." ( John 6:27)
