Mary had faith the Jesus could bring her brother back
Jesus wept from the pain that he had seen his mother in. But she had enought faith that she knew that he could bring him back. Jesus was letting us know that if we believe in him that we can live forever. I believed that death really touch Jesus he hated to see anyone die.

Comforts Sisters
Here Jesus was trying to get them to see that he was the beginnig and the end.  An that he had the power to raise their brother from the grave. Back then the peoples did not fully believe that he was Christ and he needed to show his miracle power so their spirit would start to believe and their faith would grow.  We have got to have enough faith that what Jesus said would come to pass and not rely so much on the physcial eyes. It's as if we have see things happen somethime for our faith to kick in.

Jesus Wept.
This may be the shortest verse in the Bible, however I think it shows Jesus' compassion for others in that I think He wept because He saw their pain over the death of their loved one and He knew that many would not believe in Him as a way to eternal life so they would suffer eternal fire and He wept over this also.

But does not raise Lazarus from the dead...
Jesus says that those who believe in him and the Lord, will never die. This means that they will be received into heaven and have eternal life thereafter.

What did Jesus mean when He said one can live even if he dies? Bonus question: Why did Jesus weep when He knew He would raise Lazarus?
What he meant is that a person can die here on earth but when he''Jesus'' comes back, the believers will go with him in Heaven to have ertenal life. I think Jesus weeped as a sign of Humbleness to the Lord that even if Lazarus had sinned before the Lord he could have mercy on him.

Jesus Comforts the Sisters

So when Jesus came, he found that he had been in the tomb four days already. Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about fifteen stadia away. Many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to console them concerning their brother. Then when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, but Mary stayed in the house. Therefore Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if you would have been here, my brother wouldn't have died. Even now I know that, whatever you ask of God, God will give you." Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again."
Martha said to him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day."
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
She said to him, "Yes, Lord. I have come to believe that you are the Christ, God's Son, he who comes into the world."
When she had said this, she went away, and called Mary, her sister, secretly, saying, "The Teacher is here, and is calling you."
When she heard this, she arose quickly, and went to him. Now Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was in the place where Martha met him. Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and were consoling her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, "She is going to the tomb to weep there." Therefore when Mary came to where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying to him, "Lord, if you would have been here, my brother wouldn't have died."
When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews weeping who came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, and said, "Where have you laid him?"
They told him, "Lord, come and see."
Jesus wept.
The Jews therefore said, "See how much affection he had for him!" Some of them said, "Couldn't this man, who opened the eyes of him who was blind, have also kept this man from dying?"
