Pass the narrow door
Going to church everyday, answing Jesuscentral courses, for commion, all these can not lead us throught the Narrow Door. But how we live with our friends, neigbours, siblings in times of their hardship. Jesus said whatever you have done to your neghbour you have done it to Me. John 5 v 25, John 11 v 24 to 26.

Jesus answers that to be saved, it is not enough for the person to know the Lord, rather the Lord needs to know the person. What does this mean?
Narrow door - so one needs to humble and make himself small - lowering the head and the self to hopefully make it in. No use for shouting either which implies pridefully claiming the right to be let in. You can`t crash down the doors of heaven. Peter`s got the keys and to him ''the Church'' you need to go and humbly ask to go in. Like when you kneel in the confessional box and you need to kneel at Jesus` feet or like Rut ''? but Ester comes to mind too wiy??th her humility'' who humbly lies resting at the feet of the future husband making herself small. Not pretending but faithfully hoping but snuggling already in the protective presence.

It means that not all who may be attending churches and crusades in our daily lives will be saved in the last day but all who have faith. Jesus was talking in relationship to his death and resurrection where all those who know him for miracles but did not have faith will not be spared for being there as only followers but not faithful.

The Narrow Door

He went on his way through cities and villages, teaching, and traveling on to Jerusalem. One said to him, "Lord, are they few who are saved?"
He said to them, "Strive to enter in by the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter in, and will not be able. When once the master of the house has risen up, and has shut the door, and you begin to stand outside, and to knock at the door, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' then he will answer and tell you, 'I don't know you or where you come from.' Then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.' He will say, 'I tell you, I don't know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.' There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God, and yourselves being thrown outside. They will come from the east, west, north, and south, and will sit down in the Kingdom of God. Behold, there are some who are last who will be first, and there are some who are first who will be last."

Luke 13:22-30
