When religious leaders accused Jesus of working on the day of rest (Jesus), why did Jesus get so angry?
Well I think Jesus got angry with the religious leaders because they were practicing the law of the Sabbath which is the day of rest. But Jesus was showing them that as long as someone needs help, healing or saving that it was OK for him to do that on any given day including the Sabbath. Because he was saying to the Pharisees come on don`t you people get by now that I am the son of God. Praise the Lord!

Jesus was angry at the wickedness of the religious leaders. He knew that they would do things''work''as long as it was for thier own benefit or concerned them. Now, they wanted to deny help to those in need using as excuse that is was sabbath day.He was upset at the hard heart of the religious leaders.

When religious leaders accused Jesus of working on the day of rest (Jesus), why did Jesus get so angry?
Hello dear friends, Ofcourse Jesus had to get hungry b`se he saw the these hypocrite accussing him over a good deed done.Like healing this man on the sabath did they rather love him dead than being healed. You can Imagine what made him angry, these people didn`t believe in God but they were restrictive to their laws and with Jesus there`s no law.So any person with the spirit of God would get angry like Jesus did and if it was me I would even put them to court.

When religious leaders accused Jesus of working on the day of rest (Jesus), why did Jesus get so angry?
When religious leaders accused Jesus of working on the day of rest''Jesus'' , Jesus got so angry because they were grievience with hearden hearts not understanding that Jesus is the Lord of Sabbath. Jesus expected them to change their hearts ''mind'' or learn something new but they were silent , however, they aimed at accusing Jesus not realising that Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath and it was vital for Jesus to heal the sick. The Pharisees conspired with Herodians to destroy Jesus because of His might work of the Sabbath day. When we have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we are above the law of Sabbath. AMEN!!

Lord of the Sabbath
The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. I like that remarks Jesus made the Pharisees really started to get to Him that is why he healed the man with sick hand He diden`t had to do it but because of how they behave He did it. He was really angry at their behaviour.

When religious leaders accused Jesus of working on the day of rest (Jesus), why did Jesus get so angry?
He was so angry be/cos they ONLY watch outwardly rather inwardly and yet they called themselves religious leaders. Also they left what they supposed to do and doing other wise. So any leader ''s'' who left his work to do another thing must know that God must be angry against you. So becareful, bewarned and do not fall to be a victim.

When religious leaders accused Jesus of working on the day of rest (Jesus), why did Jesus get so angry?
It is because Jesus Himself is the rest that the Lord planned, Sabbath was his Shadow;to show that the Lord`s rest will come. After Jesus came to this world, it is no more the day which gives rest, but Christ Himself will give rest to people`s heart.People can now have rest by Jesus;if they make Him their Lord, tfor the day isnot to bring rest anymore;but the Lord, who is Lord of Sabbath and everything.

IN THIS PASSAGE JESUS SHOWS THEM THAT THERE FAITH WAS BASED ON RULES AND NOT FROM THERE HEARTS.THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS OF THEN WERE MORE INTRESTED IN SHOWING PEOPLE THERE FAITH BUT, NOT HAVING FAITH AT ALL.

Lord of the Sabbath

It happened that he was going on the Sabbath day through the grain fields, and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain. The Pharisees said to him, "Behold, why do they do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath day?"
He said to them, "Did you never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry--he, and those who were with him? How he entered into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the show bread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and gave also to those who were with him?" He said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath."

He entered again into the synagogue, and there was a man there who had his hand withered. They watched him, whether he would heal him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him. He said to the man who had his hand withered, "Stand up." He said to them, "Is it lawful on the Sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?" But they were silent. When he had looked around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their hearts, he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was restored as healthy as the other. The Pharisees went out, and immediately conspired with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
