Because they are too blinded to undersatnd. Blinded by their pride and lack maybe unwillingnessto believe. They should have learnt one vital lesson already: you shall not tempt the Lord. Jesus` enemies demanded a sign to test Jesus and to defeat Jesus` ministry. For any man to test Jesus is to judge Jesus. The scheme to test by a sign of coming weather is not a heavenly sign in the coming kingdom of Christ.
