Why is it OK with God to pay the one who worked all day the same amount paid to the one who worked only an hour?
God does not judge us of what we did before coming to him because there are those who turn up to him in the last minute and they are not refused to enter the Kingdom of God which is the symbol of a Denarius here. Everybody needs to a denarius as well as going to Kingdom of God and those who come late should not be denied the entrance for being late.

Hi everyone, There`s something we need to understand here.We really need to know that we all God`s children and before his face we all appear equal.Remember God is not arespector of persons.Now what happens is as you parents all know that sometime comes when your children leaves home and goes out to places even you don`t know and what they do there you still don`t them.But those children who leaves your houses you still consider them as children before your eyes and any day they come back they are taken like others who stayed home.So this is the same with God he doesn`t consider who came to him fast or last the issue with him is knowing and coming to the knowledge of understanding the truth.We shall all go to the same heaven solong as we have accepted christ and confessed with outh mouth that his our personal Lord and saviour. So in context to the lesson for today me I look at these workers who started late as those people who come to christ late and the workers who laboured fast as the christians who get to know the truth earlier. Finally we should all know one thing that we are equal in God`s eyes and we were created in his own image.

this is an extension of the teaching by Jesus that in my Father`s house there are many mansions When we get there does not matter-all that matters is how to get there and that is through the Son and that acceptance guarantees us equality in the Kingdom..

Why is it ok
i belive that we are all first in Gods eye so no one should make a fuss about who came first or who came last, maybe the ones that don`t know Jesus as lord and saviour and if they were choesn to work for him i think that they would think the same way as those people did, but because we all know Jesus as our Lord and Saviour we should not even think like that not even for one minute, for we are all first to him and not last, he don`t think of being last to us so why should we think of others being last.

This is one of the inspiring lesson does our Lord Jesus teaches us. We have to be proud to our self if we comes first to know him and not to be last. Why? because knowing him in utmost stage gives us more blessings, happiness and encourage other our brothers and sisters sharing for his glourious good news. God is equal, if you felt bad about being unequal then you`re not 100% blessed by his holy spirit that posses you.God is so good...

I think in this parable Jesus wants to teach to us that He is a promise keeper. he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day so he acted according to what was agreed. but at the same time Jesus wants to teach us also that God is good and He gives in abundance to those He has called himself to do his work. and those who are called to do God`s work should not worry or be jealous of the working condition of the other workers, they just need to do what they should do and receive with a thankful heart what God is giving to them.

ok i think this shows that God`s ways are different from man`s ways. and another thing is that God is faithful and keeps His promises, if He agrees to pay a penny then that`s what will be paid as agreed no matter what comes up in the course. this also teaches us that when we do God`s work we should not put our focus on what others are blessed with but to what God is doing to us. thank you.

Summarily, this passage made us understand that the salvation for believers in our Lord Jesus Christ is equal for all persons irrespective of period of acceptance. And the word of God is assuring and consistent. Forgiveness of sins does not count on lateness but comes at the fullness of time. The end result of all this is eternal life - the price for our individual labour before the presence of God..

God was OK paying the worker who worked all day the same as the one that worked with only an hour just to show us how it feels to be born again and also it was the kingdom of heaven that he was talking about to his people. God was showing us that there are some of us that can hold their faith till the son of man come again and there are some that will accept Jesus in the later days of the coming of the son of man but we are all going to make it to the kingdom of heaven with the same motive and price tag. "For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who was the master of a household, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. When he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. He went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace. To them he said, 'You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.' So they went their way. Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise. About the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle. He said to them, 'Why do you stand here all day idle?'
"They said to him, 'Because no one has hired us.'
"He said to them, 'You also go into the vineyard, and you will receive whatever is right.' When evening had come, the lord of the vineyard said to his manager, 'Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning from the last to the first.'
"When those who were hired at about the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius. When the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise each received a denarius. When they received it, they murmured against the master of the household, saying, 'These last have spent one hour, and you have made them equal to us, who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat!'
"But he answered one of them, 'Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Didn't you agree with me for a denarius? Take that which is yours, and go your way. It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you. Isn't it lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?' So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen."
