In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?
Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice to serve us all by dying for us on the cross. Another way he served was to perform miracles, saving the lives of many and healing the sick. Perhaps the most poignant of all was that he washed the feet of His disciples.

In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?
Jesus during his life on earth was a servant leader. He not only preached but did all what he preached. He was the epitome of what his commandments are and by doing them he taught us about love, compassion, forgiveness, patience to name a few.He suffered in silence for our sins and laid down his life for us to unite us wiz the Father. Now he continues to do so in our lives if we let him in to our private world , our soul. I always remeber this, Jesus is always waiting outside our door .He is waiting to come in only if we open our door beacuase the door knob is on our side. He continues to be our comfort, our counselor and guide, be our peace in the midst of trials, fill us with enthusiasm and love and be our Shepherd...ONLY IF WE LET HIM IN.

In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?
He served by teaching, giving, feeding, looking after those that no one wanted to, He gave the example of serving even by the washing of the feet. He still serves through his believers, when the sick, inprisoned, orphans, and widows are cared for, ministers, through His word, through the work of the Holy Spirit.

In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?
Jesus serve as a Prophet when he was on earth, telling the people to repent for the Kingdom of God has come; healed the sick, raised the dead, feed people ''500, 000'' at a time, telling us to love one another, etc. Jesus laid down his life for us so that we may have life eternal, Jesus listen to everyone that invited him. Now he has gone to Heaven so that the Holy Spirit may come to those that are believed. He is now seated at the right hand of God Almighty as a mediator through whom our prayers will get to God Almighty, He give hope to the hopeless, at the mentioning of his Name ''JESUS'' every knees shall bow and every tongues confess that Jesus is Lord. He is still the same yesterday, today and forever more. Whatever you ask him, he will do it if only you believe, you will receive it. Right now He is still working in our mists just like two thousand years ago. He answer our prayer, he listen when talk, he answer when you call '' he is standing at the door of your heart, when you knock, he will open unto you. if we confess our sins, he is ready to forgive us. However, Jesus is still serving today!.

A Mother's Request

Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, kneeling and asking a certain thing of him. He said to her, "What do you want?"
She said to him, "Command that these, my two sons, may sit, one on your right hand, and one on your left hand, in your Kingdom."
But Jesus answered, "You don't know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?"
They said to him, "We are able."
He said to them, "You will indeed drink my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with, but to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it is for whom it has been prepared by my Father."
When the ten heard it, they were indignant with the two brothers.
But Jesus summoned them, and said, "You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. It shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant, even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
