In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?
Jesus came by the authority of God, and so he was here to fulfill God`s will - not that Jesus has a will of his own. I beleive that by understanding that Jesus and God have perfect love between them and this is the very foundation of Christian Love and consequently the desire to SERVE. When Jesus left ''drank form his cup'' he sent the Holy Spirit who too has the perfect will of God the Father and so acts in the will of the father and Jesus, Jesus work continues in the Holy Spirit here on earth, while he serves as our greatest intercessor with God. Its a perfect relationship of Love and Unity, God is indeed love, and love seeks to Serve.

In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?
God preach the gospel and healed the sick in that way He was serving the people. Now that GOD is invisible but still He is serving us by giving us hope when we feel despair, He is always there to serve.

In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?
Well, one example that comes to mind is when Jesus washed the feet of the disciples at the last supper. He also feeds thousands of people with two fish and five loaves of bread. Jesus was setting an example for us to follow in his foot steps. So we should be willing ''desire'' to serve others like him and be baptized in the Holy Spirit. When you accept Jesus Christ into your heart then you become Christ-like and serve others.

In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?
Jesus served as our earthly Father on earth for God. He healed the sick, cast out demons, made the lame walk, raised the dead. He preached the good news to all showing them how to give live their lives according to the word of God. He went about performing mircales. He washed his disciples feet. He cured the woman who touch the hem of his garments. He showed man love and and thought them about faith. He sacrificed his life for our sins and died on the cross of calvary so that we could be saved. He showed us that everyone is equal, by demonstrating the miracle with the vineyard where the last was paid first and the first last. He is still serving us as a spirit by being present in every moment in our lives, he forgive us our sins, don`t matter how big it may be and we seek repentance. He shows us an abudance of love. He shows the way through turbelance, and he has promised he would never forsake us. What a Mighty God he is, What a Mighty God he is. He intercedes for us with God the Father. He is our spiritual Father protecting us from all harm. Why not come to him. My God is an awesome God who reigns, above all the earth.

In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?
''1''-When He was on earth He served as an intermidiary between God and Man, b/w friends and friend a great reconciliator b/w father and sons. ''2''- He continued acting or soliciting between God and Man through the help of the HOLY SPIRIT He promised and finally realised the promise. That means, Christ is a redempter for you can not talk of redemption without mentioning three persons.

for whether they be in the more affluent countries of the earth, we'll all still hold on for life, because as long as there is life, we find that there is hope. If this is true of most persons, how much more true would it be of Jehovah's Witnesses. Because not only do we have the present life to hold onto and to live for, but we hold onto the hope of everlasting life. Because Jesus promised this in Romans the Sixth chapter, that the reward God would give would be everlasting life. So we have a strong desire and instinct to wanna survive and pursue it. And to eventually realize paradisaic conditions in God's New Order.

A Mother's Request

Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, kneeling and asking a certain thing of him. He said to her, "What do you want?"
She said to him, "Command that these, my two sons, may sit, one on your right hand, and one on your left hand, in your Kingdom."
But Jesus answered, "You don't know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?"
They said to him, "We are able."
He said to them, "You will indeed drink my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with, but to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it is for whom it has been prepared by my Father."
When the ten heard it, they were indignant with the two brothers.
But Jesus summoned them, and said, "You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. It shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant, even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
