Jesus prince of humble
He wants to show us that He is a humble king, the King that isn;t the same with the king from this world who show their kingship with iron hands, but He is the Kings of peace as He was named when He was born.

Amazing
Amazing indeed that the recognition of the savior is made possible thanks to the donkey. I mean think of all the devout Jews awaiting for the sign prophesised by Isahia: a donkey. For centuries that is what stayed rooted in the collective memory of a people. The donkey being such an everyday animal so common and familiar. His humble hardworking gait remaining powerfully in their souls. What a `teacher` Our Lord chose to bring His Message, the Word Incarnate. ''Brings to mind another donkey in the OT the one beated up and spurred on the narrow road...and now what an honor for the humble animal `clothed` for the ceremonial entry by Jesus needed by the Lord''. Saint Therese de Lisieux come to mind as well as Saint Francis....Happy Father Day to everyone :''

Why did Jesus choose to make His entry to Jerusalem in a humble manner, riding a donkey?
This was done to fulfil that which was spoken by the prothet so that the lord should lead the Israels into Jelusalem. It might be that Jesus was rebuilding the His temple ''Zion''. Jesus showed His humility and He wanted His deciples to learn from His character.Jesus wanted His followers to rejoice and sing songs of praise in order to give glory to God and receive thier blessings.

Why did Jesus choose to make His entry to Jerusalem in a humble manner, riding a donkey?
Jesus has always been humble and he wanted to go into Jerusalem the same way. That probably made the people feel more comfortable with him especially for the ones who didn`t know about the kingdom of God. Also he want us to humble ourselves in whatever we do.

The Triumphal Entry

When they drew near to Jerusalem, and came to Bethsphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, "Go into the village that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them, and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, 'The Lord needs them,' and immediately he will send them."
All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying,
"Tell the daughter of Zion,
behold, your King comes to you,
humble, and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey."
The disciples went, and did just as Jesus commanded them, and brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their clothes on them; and he sat on them. A very great multitude spread their clothes on the road. Others cut branches from the trees, and spread them on the road. The multitudes who went before him, and who followed kept shouting, "Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!"
When he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred up, saying, "Who is this?" The multitudes said, "This is the prophet, Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee."
