Why was the woman`s act so pleasing to Jesus?
The woman`s act was so pleasig to Jesus because the woman prepared that ointment for His burial. It also made Him feel appreciated and sacred.

Why was the woman`s act so pleasing to Jesus?
The women wanted to give her best to Jesus, she wanted to show how much she loved him and expressed this by doing this good deed. Jesus was pleased because he knew she was doing from her heart, and she was not giving any old thing, but the best, that is how God wants us to give of her best in anything unselfishly. It must come from the depths of our heart and it must be done for through love.

Why was the woman`s act so pleasing to Jesus?
It`s because she is willing to sacrifice something expensive; which shows that she doesn`t really care about it`s price or value, as long as it is for the Lord.

Why was the woman`s act so pleasing to Jesus?
Jesus was pleased with the woman`s sacrifice. She gave her most valuable posession to the Lord without thinking in an act of love. The woman clearly knew who Jesus was and therefore wanted to give the Lord the best of what she had. At that moment all she could think of was to anoint the Lord with this very expensive perfume. For me, it wasnt just the expensive perfume, it wass the very act of giving most generously to the Lord. And this please the lord so much that he rebuked the disciples.

Why was the woman`s act so pleasing to Jesus?
This woman cared for Jesus more than she did for that expensive oil. That made Jesus happy that she loved him and she will be blessed always for that.

Why was the woman`s act so pleasing to Jesus?
It meant that God`s Spirit was helping that person do a special job. Anoint- to pour oil on a person`s head which was Christ Jesus our Lord. Anointed One! I think she was lead by the Spirit of God to anoint Jesus body before his burial. Her act of faith was pleasing to Jesus and for that she will always be remembered. Because she has done a good work for Jesus.

Why was the woman`s act so pleasing to Jesus?
Jesus was excited being known what it means by anointing someone with oil. Before the birth of Christ, the Jews used anointed oil to select their kings or prophet. And to whom this is done, surely become the anointed one before God. With the anointing, Jesus surely known that the will of God have manifested in His stewardship, and to whom performed the anointing would be surely remembered for ever. The example of what we are reading in the Bible today.

Jesus Anointed at Bethany

Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, a woman came to him having an alabaster jar of very expensive ointment, and she poured it on his head as he sat at the table. But when his disciples saw this, they were indignant, saying, "Why this waste? For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor."
However, knowing this, Jesus said to them, "Why do you trouble the woman? Because she has done a good work for me. For you always have the poor with you; but you don't always have me. For in pouring this ointment on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. Most certainly I tell you, wherever this Good News is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be spoken of as a memorial of her."
