What was there about the centurian`s faith that so impressed Jesus?
Used to be at the head of his troops he shows great humility in bending to Jesus power - bejond the flesh i mean the centurion must have been physically very strong and muscly - but incapable of helping his servant. He admits humbly and simply this to ask for aid for whom? not a superior who might have been of help to him in eartlthy struggle for power, but somebody below him a servant.

What was there about the centurian`s faith that so impressed Jesus?

I believe that Jesus was impressed with the centurian's humbleness and humility to his response of Jesus's entering his home, that Jesus healed his servant right away. I think that we should all have an attitude and faith like the centurian. Praise the Lord for His wonderful work and miracles.

What was there about the centurian`s faith that so impressed Jesus?

Jesus was impressed with the Centurian's faith cause he was certain that Jesus presence was not necessary in order for his servant to be healed. He believed in Jesus word.So if Jesus only say the word his servant will be healed. He demonstrated total trust in Jesus and his word.

Im also impressed, and desire to have the same solid, undoubting, unswerving faith as the centurion. Can we think of other instances of strong faith in The Word?

What was there about the centurian`s faith that so impressed Jesus?
The Centurion was recognized as having a high post in the army, yet he humbled himself to Christ as having a more higher authority than himself. Jesus was also impressed with the centurion's faith and belief in the healing of the servant who laid paralyzed at his home even though Jesus was no where near to see this servant's face.

What was there about the centurian`s faith that so impressed Jesus?
First, the centurion wasnt a jew, but his servant was. Secondly, he recognised that as a roman, he wasn't part of Jesus' program, but his servant was a bonafide beneficiary. Thirdly, he did applied management, that one in authority need not travel to the scene, to effect change. An order or command was just as good. By coming physically to ask Jesus, and by reognising Jesus' unlimited potential, and by believing in the results outright were immeasurable degree of Faith that Jesus had never seen anywhere in Israel.

    The Faith of the Centurion

When he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him, and saying, "Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented."
Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."
The centurion answered, "Lord, I'm not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and tell another, 'Come,' and he comes; and tell my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, "Most certainly I tell you, I haven't found so great a faith, not even in Israel. I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven, but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed." His servant was healed in that hour.
