No, I don't believe we can tally up all the sins we commit especially the sins of omission. I do believe that those sins we are aware we should confess so as not to hamper our relationship with Jesus.

No not as it relates to the issue of salvation but yes relevant to embracing the fullness of being Christlike and living a life of obedience of God's word!! we can walk in the spirit and be led by the spirit but it all starts with obedience! If it is possible to verbally ask for forgiveness we should do it. Our disobedience keeps us from maturing and entering into a deeper relationship with God!

I don't think it is; if I was unable to speak how then would I be forgiven? It's a heart issue and God knows our heart and our mind.
