Is Jesus God?
Yes, Jesus is God. He is God`s beloved Son and equal to God the Father.

Jesus was equal to God.

Jesus claimed not only to be God`s Son, but also to be one with God (equal to God). Here are some of His claims:

"I and the Father are one" (John 10:30).

"Hear O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one" (Mark 12:29).

"All things have been handed over to me by my Father; and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him" (Luke 10:22).

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).

Is Jesus God?
Not in the sense that Jesus and God are one and the same person. Jesus always referred to God the Father as a separate and distinct individual. People who want to pick one quote out of the bible (John 10:30) out of context and claim that Jesus and God are the same person don't understand the cultural of Jesus's statement. In the rabbinical tradition, to say that you and your teacher were one was not to claim that you were the same person, but that what you said was what you were taught.

Is Jesus God?
No, he is the son of God which means he came FROM God and cannot be God whom he came from. Also, God has no beginning and has always existed however JC as the firstborn of all creation Col 1:15 shows that he was (pro)created by God and cannot be the God who created him. Satan wants to deceive the people into thinking that JC is God so that we will believe in a false god and lose our salvation and our soul to him; just as he deceived Eve and we lost our body.

Is Jesus God?
When someone ask the question; Is Jesus God? Usually a YES or NO answer is solicited. However either answer could be wrong, depending on a number of definitions, and on WHEN in His existence we are talking about. As a general answer, I say with Thomas, Jesus “My Lord and my God.” As a more specific answer I say: When we ask, “Is” Jesus God? We are asking if He is God at the present time. Yes, Jesus is (a) God (being), if by “God” we mean that He is the first born (again) Son of God. No, Jesus is not God if we mean “God” (the Father). Another question we need to ask is, “Was” Jesus God during His 33 ½ years on earth? Yes, Jesus was (a) God (being), if by “God” we mean that He was a BORN human being, and the first (so) BEGOTTEN Son of God. No, Jesus was not (yet) a BORN God being. Another question is, “Was” Jesus God before He was born as Jesus? No, Jesus was not (a second) God (being) before He was born. However, Jesus was the WORD of God before He was born, and the WORD of God was always with God, and the WORD of God was God. http://logoslogic.info/whydeity.html
