Homosexual Son
My grandson has declared that he is homosexual, and I have to say, it has ripped my heart out. I ask, "How can this happen, how can I help him?" His father and mother are devastated. He is involved with other homosexual people and non-homosexual people that encourage him, telling him that he was born that way. He has bought into the lie. I will always love him, and pray that God gives me knowledge to say the right things. I pray for God to send someone into his life that will help him see the lie and that there is hope for him to turn away from that lifestyle. I also know that he has to want to turn away, and I'm not sure that he is there yet. I pray for your son. I did find a site that is designed for help for individuals and family: freeministry.org. Homo s son
I don't have a son who is homosexual, but a very good friend of mine's daughter is "loving" another woman and I struggle to come to terms with the fact that our children become so blinded to God's plan when we have taught them what we know to be God's will- I will never judge this person as I know she has been through much pain and abuse and recognise that she is really comfortable in this relationship. I do believe we should be praying God's protection and deliverance for our children in a MIGHTY way! They need it more than we understand!
