Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
When we look at Adam and Eve, they were to live forever in the Garden. However, after they sinned, it brought death into their bodies. Yet, this cancerous black death was still taking force, and the early descendants of Adam lived for quite a long time. But then after that, you see his descendants living for a shorter and shorter time.

I think He had to suffer separation from God physically as well as emotionally to show that the sins He died for were physical and emotional.

why did Jesus suffer physical and emotional pain
Jesus came to earth as a man in human flesh just as we are in our humanity...He took on everything that we would have suffered and felt..He did it all that we might have eternal life...Praise His Name Forever.......

"Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?)

No.Because he all ready knew that he was going to die.So he had a passover meal with his tweleve disciples and told them that he was going to die ,then he told Judus (one of the disciples)that he should go and do what he was meant to do and then Judus walked out the door.

After a while he went outside and took some of his followers with him and told them that they should wait by a tree. Then Jesus went of to pray to his father God. He went to check on them and they were slepping, sohe went back to pray, the 2nd time they were still slepping so he went back, the 3rd time he went to wake them up and they were heading home then they saw judus and some soldiers coming.

Then one of the soldiers asked "How do we know that is jesus?".Then Judus gave Jesus a kiss on the cheek to prove he was Jesus. Then Jesus was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Jesus gave up his life for us so that we should be forgiven by God and help us to believe in him so that when we die we shall reach him in heaven.

Is it right for a church to have auxilaries and fight in church meetings and raise money for their own auxilary and not give the money to the church as a whole?

"Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?"
I believe Jesus accomplished everything he was sent on earth d. It is up to us to believe in him and to follow him.  It is our decison to live in sin or be have our sins washed by the blood of Jesus.

Was Jesus trying to incite his death?
Jesus already knew he was going to die and go to the Father after He had completed His mission on earth.  Doing what He had to do, ie; accusing the spiritual leaders of that day of burdening the people with ritualistic acts and cleansing of the temple were actions He was called to do.  Jesus recognized that the people of Israel were being burdened with false demands by the so called spiritual leaders and that the focus was not on a relationship with God but on ritualistic rites.  Jesus came to provide us all with a bridge to the Father and remove the heavy weight of guilt because of our sin.  He was the perfect sacrafice.
