God loves us where he countless keep on forgiving us our sins.  The better is the pain and punishment than to be separated from God. He gave up his beloved sons life for us. This is the most greatest gift a human has ever given than death.

 "The Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many

Jesus  cries out at a moment in time when he is not just physically punished, but spiritually separated from God, his Father. God separates Himself from Jesus because all of the evils of mankind are placed on Jesus. This spiritual separation is the heaviest sacrifice which Jesus pays of behalf of mankind, so that mankind does not need to suffer spiritual separation from God.

In the new testament, Jesus was shown both as man and God, he was concieved and given birth to by virgin Mary.his conceptiopn was spiritual but his birth was human.

There fore his penalty for sin needed to include both physical and emotional pain becouse of the sinful human nature in which he was born.

Jesus came down to earth to save mankind. if his penalty for sin was spiritual separation from God,mankind would not have been saved.

 Jesus was born as human and carried out His great mission,in oder to teach us christians,that when that time of troubles and persecution comes,we should not fall,so Jesus went before us and set as an example and died for us all in physical and emotional pain.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
Being forgiven by someone creates a bond between you and that someone.  The bond that is created can be called love.  In order to love someone you must forgive their short commings and mishaps.

It needed to include physiscal and emotional pain because this is what humans understand and know.  We do not understand what it is to be separated from God spiritually we can only speculate.

Separation from God was not the reason for Jesus' death. He had to suffer a cruel death, because He took our place. We should have been on that cross, literally, but Jesus' died for us. It was planned before the universe was made.
