Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

As per His death it proved that blood shed on the cross was for both physical and spiritual, more so when He says "My God why have you left me" He is crying for both physical and spiritual separation

"Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?)
No! even before He was born all of His life Had been fore told. The life of Jesus had been planned nothing He did for Himself but it was for the Glory of God and How Jehova wanted it to Happen.

"Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?"
Jesus accomplished all that He was to do on earth. He preached the good news, He healed the seek, He gave hope to the hopeless, then later He was the only sacrifice that was to die for the sinners and he brought salvation to the four .

"Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?"

I believe all of these purposes had been accomplished by our Lord Jesus. It is by His love for us he chose to live in a humble way, he chose to be poor and to live out of comfort zone, He has sent us to liberty, be saved from spiritual death, He redeem us from our sins, He taught us the words of God, He chose to served intead of being served and above all Jesus died for us, for us to be with Him in Heaven..

How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment?
Our obedience to Jesus goes far beyond a list of specific behaviors (all the "nots" that so many are so quick to say define someone who follows Jesus) but is more an attitude and outlook of love to others, especially those who are not easy to love.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
I would ask Jesus about tragedies in people's lives and how we are to understand them in light of what we know about Jesus, his love for us, and God's love for us.
