I am so thankful to have found this site today. I am chronically ill and currently unable to walk well, and loneliness can be a huge problem, even when I know the My Lord is always with me. I miss Church family and friends.He knows we need friends and when I am at my lowest, He always seems to send a new one along and today, He has sent all of you! How blessed I am. Are we the real disciples of Jesus ?
The great and foremost commandment is to love. ''1'' We shall love the Lord our God and ''2'' we shall love our neighbour as ourself. If we surrender ourself in the hand of God, He will give strength us to lead a good christian life through Holy Spirit. We will get power to love our enemies and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. We should be humble and have the willingness to serve. Then we will become the real disciplines of Jesus. Jesus said ``Come to Me, _ _ _ you shall find rest for your souls``. What we have to do ? ''1'' Invite Jesus in our life:- Jesus is standing at the door of our heart and knocking. We have to hear the voice and open the door. We have to invite Jesus in our life. Then only He will come and abide in our heart. 2'' Believe in Jesus and tell the goodnews to other :- We have to believe and accept Jesus as our God and saviour. The Scripture said ``From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water`` - ie. from those who believe in Jesus, living waters flow will be there. We have to tell about Jesus to others also. We have to give the Living water to others. 3'' Keep His commandments :- One who loves Jesus will keep his commandments. Jesus will also love them and will disclose Himself to them. ''4'' Find rest place in Jesus :- Jesus said ``Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, I will give you rest``. If your a son of Jesus, there is no need to take tensions and worries in your life. We have to put our tensions and worries upon Jesus. Scripture says Jesus has concern about His children. Love God with Heart, soul, mind and strength
1'' Treasured - My soul is eternal, and is what Jesus has purified and sees now as perfect. God treasures my soul. I can love God with my soul. 2'' Transformed - My heart ''emotions'' and mind ''thoughts'' are still sinful, yet are being transformed to become more like Jesus. Yet, I can love God with my heart and mind. 3'' Traded - My body ''strength'' will be destroyed, and traded for a heavenly body. I can love God with my body ''strength and actions''. Jesus came to this world at the right time to save the mankind from sin. Whatever may be the Political -Economical- Cultural- Religious- Educational environment, Jesus loved the people and showered his grace to the needed. This is my question to the members of study group -''1'' Can you say that I am a real christian, If not, ''2''Are you ready to accept Jesus as your master and saviour in your life. Believe in God and abide HIS Commandments is the true expression of Gods Love.Those who believe in him shall get eternal life. Jesus made the commandments very simple. It has been reintroduced as Believing in the only God with full heart and love one another. When anybody love God and love another all other commandments will automatically be in . All commandments were given to eradicate evil and to bring the kingdom of God on earth. Love is the supreme nature of the kingdom where there is no selfishness. To be loved by God is to keep His word and live with Him. It is to hold the commandments. It is to never perish and always live with Him.
