What does the contrast between the small seed and huge bush teach you about the kingdom of God?
If we nourish the small seed of faith, we will become enlightened unto God and He will nourish us for eternity in His Kingdom.

When asked about a religious practice (fasting), why does Jesus describe how old and new may not be compatible?
The old covenant was more about the law and the new covenant was more about spirituality and the two couldn`t be combined without spoiling both.

How did Jesus behave in sharp contrast to how religious leaders acted?
By eating with the sinners and tax collectors, Jesus was setting a perfect example, with love and humility. This must have been mind-boggling to the scribes and Pharisees.

What is compassion, and do you possess it?
Compassion is defined as a deep awareness of the suffering of another and the wish to relieve that suffering. I believe a compassionate nature is a gift from God and I am blessed.
