Why did the people ask Jesus to leave, even after He delivered the two demon-possessed men?

After Jesus delivered the man, the people were afraid the demons were still in the land and could possess any one in the village.

Jesus, rebuked the disciples for being fearful. How should they have responsed to the storm?
As human beings our first response to diaster is fear, Jesus taught the disciples principles on trust, but I believe they were being tested.

Why did Jesus seem to discourage the Scribe and the disciple from following Him? Didn`t He want these two to join Him?

Jesus knew they were not up to task of following Him.

How does building your life on Jesus` words protect you when the storms of life come?
Building your life on Jesus is trusting in Him and believing in Him. He said in His words that thou we fall we might not be utterly cast down, He also said that He would not leave us or forsake us. God is Truth and Jesus says to us who have Him will have life and have it more abuntantly.

Since God is such a generous giver, what is there that you (personally) should be asking Him for?

I should be asking God to help me personally to carry the "Fruit of the Spirit".
