Jhon was explaining that he was not Christ but the one who came before him in order to prepare others for the come of Christ. When he was ask if he was he denies three times. When I think of this I remember the part where Peter denied Christ three times everything leads up to Jesus death and how long he would be in the grave. Three days and nights and than Jesus would rise again. It is amazing how the number three is used for a number of things in the bible relating to Jesus.

Now though Jesus we can pray to our Father in Heaven and ask for forgiveness of our sins. No Jesus was not. When you read thought out the New Testament you do not find anything about Jesus trying to incite his death. He did for tell his death when the time was right but not until than. Jesus came to live, teach, and suffer for our sins in order for us to be able to God's children thought his son Jesus all these thing came about. |
