Swearing and using the Lord and some other higher power and authority to authenticate your vows is evil because you as human and without the guidance of the Holy Spirit cannoot fulfill that vow.

Gazing with lust is coveting someone that does not belong to you or warrants sexual relations with you. To gaze and desire is equivalent to covet and therefore adultery is already committed in the mind and heart.

Jesus came to earth as a man, a human being. It was necessary for Him to go through temptation to demonstrate how to thwart and not succumb to Satan's inducements.

Repenting is being sorry for the sins you have done in the past, and accepting Jesus as your Saviour and allowing Him to guide you for the rest of your life prepares you for His Kingdom.

Joseph had always been obedient to God. In another dream,an angel appeared to Joseph to tell him of Mary's condition and to marry her just the same. Joseph obeyed and seeing that it was true, he believed again this time the angel and obeyed his instructions.
