Judas was one of the 12 men closest to Jesus. Why would Judas betray Jesus?

Judas saw an opportunity to make a lot of money did not think of the consequences. Judas is like some of us who will do harm to others for money.

Judas is meant to show us that the  pursuit of money can make us do harm to others which we will regret.

Jesus described his generation as "Faithless and perverse". How would Jesus describe your generation?

Jesus would describe our generation as confused, selfish whoes lives as spent in the pursuit of pleasure.

The terms "Faithless and perverse" describes as all so that, we may be marginally better from better communications but we are nothering without faith and confidence in Jesus.

How did this woman's broken past lead to her advantage?

Jesus has said that he has come to save sinners and not the righteous.

The sinful woman showed her faith that Jesus could save her from her sins. Jesus forgave all of her sins and made her whole.

This story must encourage us in similar situations.

The Calling of Levi

Levi is like most of living a normal life before he was called by God.

We can only hope we are called also.

What things can you look at to have a good eye (lamp), and thus fill your light instead of darkness?

We can read the gosples for light.

Jesus was full of light and was prior to the gosples.

Jesus saw the light everwhere because he believed in God.

Perhaps we need to read the gosples to see the light and then see God around us.
