What does Jesus want people (you) to feel when he says that God pays attention to every little bird and numbers of every hair on your head?
Ofcourse the topic at hand was, Fearing those who kill physically. He told us not to fear them, rather to Fear God. After all, God can both kill us and cast us to Gehenna. The real feeling is to make us more valuable in God's sight. Jesus is lecturing once again---- on How deep God's love for us is.

Why did Jesus ask his followers to pray for laborers instead of praying for a greater harvest?
Actually the harvest is already there. It is even plentiful, and Jesus is the Lord of the harvest. What's important and at stake, is bringing in the harvest. That one is mandated to human beings, the followers of Jesus, or His Disciples. We should pray that the believers should say, "Yes Lord, Here I am, Send me". The more the labourers, the faster the whole harvest will be brought in.

Jesus described his generation as "Faithless and perverse". How would Jesus describe your generation?
Faithless and Perverse too. Infact this generation, living after the gospel of christ has reached them, could be punished more than the people in the days of Noah, or the men of sodom and gomorrah.

Was Jesus prayer about bringing heaven to people on earth, or about bringing people on earth to heaven?
Heaven and Earth are both here, and are found in our hearts. The spirit of God, filled with goodness and Virtues (truthfulness, joy, peace, love, etc) is real heaven to me, and I personally feel it always, but the soul, with its animosity and vices, like (envy, anger, falsehood etc,) is hell, and its also on earth in our hearts, i.e, when we are spiritually real low or dry. Christ Was teaching us to pray down, own,  and feel heavenly while in this human form daily.
