November 21, 2008 Showing Love Towards God: When have you put love into action?
The way I like to show love to God is to spend time with Him. It isn’t easy in today’s world but if you are committed to you, giving up an hour of my day every morning has become a part of my life I simply couldn’t live without any longer. If your not a morning person I’d encourage you to find some time to just be with him. You don’t have to have it all planned out and all you know. Just pray, read, sing, breathe or whatever comes naturally to you. If you will keep at it, you will break out into a new place of freedom through this experience. My times with God change everyday. I don’t like doing the same thing every day and so each morning I ask God what he wants to do. If I don’t sense anything in my spirit, I just do what is on my heart and I believe God is giving me the chance to pick the agenda that day. For me it was hard and unfruitful for a first couple of weeks but one of my mentors told me not to give up on it when it was hard and eventually it wouldn’t be. Sure enough the momentum shifted for me and how it is the pivotal part of my life. Anyone else willing to share their experiences in this area"
