March 11, 2009 Why did God choose such a unique way (through a virgin birth) to bring Jesus into the world?
Firstly , this happened to fulfill that which was spoken by the lord through the prophet. Secondly Joseph was a righteous man and God knew that he would not ridicule Mary when he found out that she was with child knowing that he did not sleep with her, when he had secretly intended to hide her the angel of the lord appeared to him

March 06, 2009 Why did Jesus use the greeting. "Peace be to you"? Was there special signiificance in this greeting?
Jesus realized that the disciples were afraid he reassured them by saying peace be to you. He showed them his hands and his sides where he was pierced so that they wold know he was indeed the Lord who was risen.
