Why did Jesus first forgive the paralytic`s sins, and only later heal him? What lesson was he trying to communicate?
Seeing their faith Jesus heals the paralytic person.  By doing this Jesus is trying  to teach us that with the power of God everything is possible.

Jesus, rebuked the disciples for being fearful. How should they have responsed to the storm?
When they knew Jesus was there with them they should not have got frightened and should have had faith in the Lord.  Their faith in Jesus would have protected them.

Why did Jesus seem to discourage the Scribe and the disciple from following Him? Didn`t He want these two to join Him?
Jesus discouraged the scribe and the disciple from following him because to follow Jesus meant to give up everything.  They were not willing to wholeheartedly leave their near and dear ones.  Following Jesus meant a lot of hardships which Jesus knew they would not carry on.

Why was Jesus so willing, even eager, to heal the leper?
Jesus was willing to heal the leper because of his faith.  The leper knew that Jesus could and would heal him because Jesus loved and cared for each one of us.
