May 24, 2007 In anticipation of what is ahead, Jesus experiences intense emotions, described as trouble, distress and exceeding sorrow. What final decision does Jesus make here in discussion with his ``Abba Father`` (daddy)?
Inspite of what lies ahead ''His final execution'', Jesus` final decision is to fulfill the purposes of HIS coming - to save His people from their sins and glorify HIS Father ''John17:1''. Jesus` sorrow was caused by HIS carrying the brunt of the Father`s anger over the sins of the world. But HE is the perfect lamb who offered HIS life for the ransom of many

April 25, 2007 Jesus Says God Loves You and Values you
It is amazing how Jesus loves the people of GOD that HE came to save them from their sins. In fact the depth of this love is unfathomable in that HE saw to it that HIS people had been chosen before the foundation of the world ''Eph. 1:4'' That is also an evidence of how HE values HIS own. GOD is in no way obligated to seek and save those who are rebellious and continuously running away from HIM ''Romans 3:10-12'' but because HE is GOD of love, HE chose to sacrifice HIMSELF just to reach the sinners out. What a great GOD HE is.
April 20, 2007 Identify the various examples of Jesus befriending or promoting the lowly
The Bible is full of examples/evidences that Jesus befriended and promoted the lowly. HE chose Mary to be his mother in the flesh: Mary said in Luke 2:48 ..He regardeth the low estate of his handmaiden. He chose Peter and his brother who were fishermen as disciples, went to the sick, blind and lame to restore them and He even talked with the Samaritan woman who was considered as outcast and used her to proclaim His name to other people ''John 4''. The greatest evidence is HIS coming to the world to make the dead alive through HIS word.
April 19, 2007 What is Jesus trying to teach his disciples?
Jesus taught HIS disciples about HIS kingdom - that they might be able to preach about it. He also taught them full dependence on HIM. It is also implied, that there will be people who will not receive their Good News and that this may cause them to falter- but they were taught to just go on.
The kingdom of GOD is rulership of GOD.
Jesus was baptized by John because Jesus allowed it to fulfill all righteousness ''Mat 3:15''. It is JESUS public declaration of His substitutionary work for HIS own people. Instead of HIS people receiving the wages of sin, He paid for it, taking all our sin to HIMSELF and imputing HIS righteousness on us - HIS people.
