In the middle of extreme busyness, Jesus departed to a mountain to pray. What do you learn from Jesus` example?

That God was first in his life.  Regardless of what is going on around us we should still make time for prayer.

Why did Jesus` penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
Jesus knew all that we would suffer and go through in this life so he suffered it all and made his self the example to follow so no matter what we face we can be assured of Jesus because he has already suffered it for us. Jesus realized that sin separated us from God and that the wages of sin is death.

Statements of Purpose
He fulfilled each purpose and showed us our purpose and he has promised us many things if only we love him and live for him.
