September 12, 2011 Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
because we suffer from sin every day in pain including physical and emotional ways. He knows our pain and He stands in it so that we might believe He knows.

because it also says, then you will be my disciples. No one was disciples of Jesus before. They may have been followers of God but not Jesus.

Jesus 's words have power. To pass from death to life can be for today. It doesn't have to be after death. Life with Him starts when I believe I've been forgiven! Halleluiah!

August 23, 2011 How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
When I realize the mess I've made in my life,, and the pain I've caused others and myself, And the I go to god and have finally found myself on my knees asking for forgiveness, and God frees me from the guilt, I have so much more room to love and feel freed up without the negatives in the way. It feels so good to be free and living real ...... It doesn't come from anywhere else!
