Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

The penalty for "sin" had to be physical and emotional becuse it signifies the work that Jeseu came to do in the world for we are no longer now connected to Him by emotions and phyical but by the Spirit wi the help of the Holy Spirit.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.

Being forgiven means that God's love for me is priceless and is full of love and compassion when He sees that in my heart I am really sorry and have repented. His love is always waiting fo rme to ask for forgiveness for Heknows that I need it before I even say it. He knows that I need to be with Him so the devil will not have a chance to win.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?

Jesus does not look at a person on the outside but he checks the motive and the heart. That is how he responds to people around Him all the time.
