Why was Peter`s rebuke a stumbling block to Jesus?
Jesus knew Peter 's rebuke was really satan using Peter and influencing his mind. Peter's decision to inform Jesus that he wouldn't be killed or suffer many things was a direct contradiction of faith in God.  It could possibly influence the other disciples to become doubtful of Jesus's power and righteousness; therefore, nullifying all they had been taught.

Discipline

I think it takes discipline and stead-fastness to be a Christian and to try to live spiritual lives.

This course gives me the opportunity to stay focused on my bible. To read more than the scriptures given to us as classwork and to repeat the things I  previously learned.

I think it is next to impossible to ever really know the bible in its entirety; but we can concentrate on practicing what we learn by being living examples of Jesus' influence in our lives.

How is the teaching of the Pharisees and Saducees like yeast?

When you mix yeast into the dough, it causes the dough to rise; therefore, the yeast changes the composition of the dough.

The warning concerning the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees explains that biblical teachings of Jesus can be contaminated and nullified by the tradition, and non-biblical philosophy they believe and have chosen to live by.

Why didn`t Jesus want his disciples to tell others that He was the Christ?

I think that Jesus wanted the people of Caesarea Philippi to have faith in God.  To trust that Jesus is delivering the word of God, and for them to form their own opinion of Him with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit; just as Simon Peter had done.
