Since Jesus knew that He was to be crucified, why did He not just avoid trouble by leaving town?
Because Jesus submitted to the will of the Father in heaven. The Father`s will be done according to the scriptures.Jesus obeyed.

What things should we, as faithful and wise servants, be doing while we wait for the return of Jesus?
We must stand firm with our faith, and be watchful so that we will not be led astray... Let us be prepared and be ready for his coming bec we don`t know the time.

How will we recognize Jesus when He comes again?
If we stand firm to the Word of God and we hold on to the Faith ... I believe that we are God`s chosen people, children, and co heirs of Jesus, so we will inherit the kingdom of God. Praise God ! Alleluia !

Why is religious hypocrisy so offensive to Jesus?
religious hypocrisy is offensive to Jesus because it is against his teachings. They are pretending to be righteous and yet doing unrighteousness.

How is it that the Christ is descended from David, and yet David still calls Him Lord?
God chose Mary a descendant of David to give birth to Jesus. It was prophesied even before the existence of David The LOrd Jesus. So David know about the Lord Jesus all along.
