How can a person determine whether they are one of the sheep cared for by Jesus?

I don't see myself as a sheep cared for by Jesus- I do however see myself as a child of Jesus and cared for by Jesus. I really didn't understand this passage. The only part that made sense is "I came that they may have life and may have it more abundantly;" True that!

Wow!

I think I would just ask that his will be done through me, my purpose for being! To let me use the gifts he gave me in the right direction, at the right time, for the right people. I would also ask him to please never leave me, always be close in my heart a partner for life.

Amen.

Jesus knew of all kinds of love, but was he ever in love with a woman? Did he ever experience this type of love?

Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment?

I think Jesus realized the importance of Love as the first commandment states You Shall Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and all your soul and with all your mind. Jesus called Love One Another a new commandment because he knew all things were possible with love. Isn't love one of our basic needs in life" To respond to the passage: But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward in heaven will be great- I think we all know how difficult this REALLY is. I have been in situations like this and it has been so hard to turn my cheek, bite my tongue, whatever it took or takes, but I know if i do God will NOT let me down, hurt me, and he will love me even more for it. I want to be loved by God, in his arms is the safest place in the world to me.
