How do we find leaders

I think in this passage, Jesus is looking for a leader/leaders to organize and to lead the sheep. As Jesus has been our leader, we hope to follow in his steps. To do this we must be strong in our spirit, focused in our thoughts and have the compassion to listen and the wisdom to guide.

Define "Compassion"?
Compassion is the ability to feel others hurts, pains, and sorrows and through that compassion the desire to offer your help in any way to make things better. Amen!

What I learned about Jesus that surprises me the most
I learned that Jesus spoke Aramaic, and that he had brothers and sisters. How many brothers and or sisters did Jesus have"

Brief Life Summaries
Jesus, who we also know as Christ means King, or Messiah was born in Israel 2000 years ago. Jesus was born in Bethlehem and was raised in Nazareth. Jesus lived a normal life as a child and he was a carpenter. In his thirties, Jesus began teaching and performing miracles. This is where things start to get unfair and unjust. Jesus was put through a trial because he claimed to be God, which wasa violation of the Jewish Law. Although the Romans claimed that Jesus was not guilty, he was punished, brutally tortured, nailed to a cross and put to death. Better News, Jesus rose from the dead three days later and over the next 40 days journeyed in the provinces of Israel. Jesus left the earth alive by rising up to the sky on a cloud, ascending into heaven. What a heroic man, a man of honor and wisdom. Why did God give up his only son- to save us, to forgive our sins, to provide us with everlasting life. Would you or I give up our only child for this reason" I am not sure, but my instinctive nature is to protect my child, my children. Any comments or thoughts" This first lesson made me realize how special Jesus really is and how I need to thank him every single day for all that he has done and been through. Thank you, Jesus, my friend, my father, my hero!
