Why is it that God is so upset with hypocrites? What makes hypocracy so wrong?

Because only God can judge. He dislikes hypocracy because we are all sinful and yet we only seem to see other's faults and sins. Blessings.

What is so good about fasting? Why fast?

Fasting cleans our minds so we talk more to God and He can work in us. Also, by fasting we are denying ourselves as Jesus denied Himself. Blessings.
