In anticipation of what is ahead, Jesus experiences intense emotions, described as trouble, distress and exceeding sorrow. What final decision does Jesus make here in discussion with his "Abba Father" (daddy)?
Jesus was in agony and distress but he said to his father it doesn't matter how I feel nevertheless, I will do your will.

What actions of the scribes did Jesus warn against? Do we have people who act like this now?
Jesus warned us not to be hypocritical or self-centered and selfish as the Scribes were. He also warned us about being highminded and oppressive. Yes we do have peole like that today.

Jesus taught that both believing and forgiving are key to effective prayer. Why do you think they are important?
When we pray we must believe on him whom we are praying to. When we come to him we must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of all those who diligently seek him. In order for us to be forgiven by our father in heaven, we must be willing to forgive those who trespass against us.

What did the blind man acknowledge about Jesus by calling him the "Son of David."? Note: David was a great king of Israel. The "Messiah" was predicted to be a direct descendent of David, as Jesus was.

The blind man acknowledged that Jesus was the Messiah, the son of God. It was propheised through the propets that the messiah would come through the Davidic lineage.
