i would say compassion is the sympahatic pity and concern for others suffering or in misfortune,that is why Jesus said he felt compassionate to them because the people of God looked like a sheep without a shepherd.

what surprises me is the brothers and sistors of Jesus that they talk about and yet they said that Jesus was concieved by the power of the holy spirit.

Jesus is the son of God who lived both private and pulic life,private was 30yrs as a canpenter and public 3yrs as a messeah on earth ,then returned back to heaven to his father, came to save the sinners and have ever elasting life for those who believe in jesus christ.
