April 08, 2008 Why was Jesus so willing, even eager, to heal the leper? He came to Christ a converted man thru the belief that Jesus and only Jesus had the ability to heal him by Gods grace, he did this in the way he came and what he said to Jesus, and Jesus seeing how he was glorifying God thru Him was eager that God would be glorified by transforming the leper into a new creation by God’s divine grace "And we...are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit" (2 Cor. 3:18).
The Holy Spirit transforms us and as Christians, we don't want to exist on mere knowledge of God, but rather experience God's life-transforming presence. Without experiencing God we end up feeling defeated and powerless. It’s time to meet the Living Christ and experience His amazing power just as the leper did on the slopes of the mountain |

April 05, 2008 What are the good fruits that that we should look for in people that show they are not wolves?(2 Peter 1:5) So, for this very cause, take every care; joining virtue to faith, and knowledge to virtue, (2 Peter 1:6) And self-control to knowledge, and a quiet mind to self-control, and fear of God to a quiet mind, (2 Peter 1:7) And love of the brothers to fear of God, and to love of the brothers, love itself. (2 Peter 1:8) For if you have these things in good measure, they will make you fertile and full of fruit in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. |
