How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
The answer is obvious, we are forgiven. Who would not love the One who forgives us of SIN" No one else is capable of doing such a thing, even most of our own parents truly do not love us uncontitionally as God and Jesus do. And, obviously, God will not forgive those who do not love Him (in the sense of believe in Him and follow Him) because of course God loves everyone, but one must ask to be forgiven in order to be forgiven.

Indeed
That certainly is Good News! :) I'm glad to hear I'm in a better place, both here on Earth and one day (hopefully a long time from now) in Heaven. Remember, a King reigns over all he sees, that is His Kingdom. God sees all, rules all, controls all. No one is free from His rule or judgement.

"According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?"

God's love is something unfathomable. Our simple minds cannot reason or rationalize God's love for us. Even people with children cannot understand love the way God delivers it. He loves all, which includes people who do not deserve to be loved, and even though it's wrong, we can all admit there are people in this world who do not "deserve" to be loved.

According to Jesus, God loves us because we are His children and we are all capable of following Him and becoming Christ-like. He made us to live in His kingdom, of course He loves us. He loves us unconditionally.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
Of course. I think a little more than the already-saved. I forget the verse, but Jesus said it Himself. I got this revelation a few weeks ago, people who are "saved", meaning people who are knee-deep in sin and God comes along and calls them, seem to have more appreciation for God and Jesus and realize His power and are willing to do more for Him (Them) than most people who are born into the church, or just turn to God out of boredom, for a change of pace. So yes, I believe the lowly are EXTREMELY valuable.
