January 08, 2008 From what I can gather, Jesus was a conduit for the poor. He wanted the poor to have what the rich had. I'm speaking of the wealthy Jews at the time. He wanted the wealthy Jews to help the poor. This may be one reason the sihedren (sp) may have convinced the Romans (apart from saying that Jesus was professing to be God) to have him executed. Is this correct in thinking?
