In what ways does Jesus still heal today?

Jesus heals continuously- - - In all things.

When I have felt totally desolate as to what to do next- He IS there.

when I have become lost, seeking a direction to take in the throws of my life- He IS there.

When a relationship of love, for whatever reason, seems to come to an end (and this is the toughest of all)- He IS there...

He IS all around our everything... Continually being our rock in which to stand.

His Love is immeasurable- timeless- ceaseless- FOREVER!

His LOVE heals all wounds- brings encouragement- renews strength- shall forever flow in, through, aand around us... FOREVER!

I love being in Your arms Lord... I love YOU!

Why did Jesus equate raising Lazarus from the dead with "seeing the glory of God"?

I can see a parable here...

In place of the name of Lazarus, place your name, or the name of anyone who you know, love and care about. Wouldn't it sorrow Jesus just as much to see that we had been dead- that we are rotting away in the realm of this fleshly life- regardless of how long we were dead" It saddens Him...

But because of our faith and belief in another, or someone who continuously lifts us up in prayer- through true Faith- in giving God all of the glory in this resurrection- letting Jesus work that miracle in their/our life... how could anyone NOT see the Glory of God"

And then to be set free of that which has had us in the bondage represented by the wrappings that bound Lazarus...

IN THE HAND OF GOD, WE ARE FREE! REJOICE! SING! PRAISE HIM WITH ALL OF YOUR MIGHT! THANK YOU FATHER GOD... AMEN!

What does this miracle of turning water to wine tell us about Jesus?
To me this tells of Jesus' obedience, doing the wishes of His mother, Mary. It tells of His compassion for the event.

Why was sending Jesus to live on earth such an effective way for God to tell people about Himself?

I have to believe that Jesus was sent to us and lived on earth to SHOW us what Father God was expecting of us in our nature, in our thought, and in our heart. We could not or did not comprehend the word of His prophets. He, Jesus, was here and remains here in the heart of all who believe as the example in which we were and are to emulate- teaching by example. For many of us that have been hold by the term, "seeing is believing" - all of the "Doubting Thomas'" - actions spoke louder than word. Yet in the time of Jesus, many of us still did not perceive Him.

Thank Father God for His undying patience, grace, tender mercies and most of all for His Love. We are doomed without it.

Describe what you would do if you were there watching Jesus ascend?

I guess I would have to answer like so many of you have answered...

I would be filled with joy, sadness, promise... all of these things, tis true... But I also realize that to try and describe these things would not come close! Without having actually been there, I could only imagine. To have been there... to actually feel that moment in time would have been so life changing- so full of enlightenment,  such a humbling experience, such a moment that would live forever... how can I possibly describe such an event"
