According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God.

To be loved by God means that we commit to keeping  his commandments, we keep His word, He loves and reveals Himself to us, we partake in the gift of His Son's death, we receive the love that God had for Jesus through Him and because we love Him and He loves us we can hear his voice leading us, we follow after him, we shall live for eternity and no one shall snatch us from the hand of God.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
Sinners, children, servants, crowds, people from different ethnic backgrounds, all these people feature in the lesson today.  Jesus readiness to engage with them all teaches us about his belief system, that there are none that He does not want, none who are unworthy of His sacrifice, everyone is of value.  It is true to say that while everyone is worthy, and Jesus is no respecter of persons, I do believe that we will all give an account of ourselves at the level to which we have attained.  From he who has much, much will be expected. Jesus gives the opportunity of salvation to everyone, it is His to give and there are none who do not qualify for forgiveness, we too can share the teachings of salvation with our fellow man.  I am valuable, you are valuable, every man, woman and child born into this world is of such value to God that He gave His only Son to die on the cross.

Define "Compassion"?
Jesus life illustrated His continuous connection to the plight in which man finds himself, from the blind, the hungry, the lost, the sad - all of them are able to touch the part winthin our Lord which caused him to feel.  His feelings were that which compelled him to act and his actions were diverse and sometimes hard to understand. He moved always toward the betterment of man, towards his peace of mind and his need for God.  Compassion is not to judge but rather to experience the anguish of another and come alongside them.

What I know for sure.
The Brief Life Summary teaches me that Jesus is the Son God, conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, that he lived 30 years and suffered under Pontious Pilat, that He was crucified and died and was buried for my transgressions, he descended into hell, on the third day he rose from the dead, He ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of God the Father and he will return from there again to judge the world, living and dead.
