Jesus was born in Israel approximately 2000 years ago. Jesus worked as a carpenter until he was 30, and during his early 30’s he began to teach and tell people of the miracles he could do.

His main teachings were these:

•           God loves you and is with you

•           Love one another

•           Immense value of each person

•           Good news: kingdom of God has come to earth

•           Reality of judgment to heaven or hell

•           God forgives those who ask

Caesar was the emperor of Rome during this period, he was also a dictator of Bethlehem (Jesus birth place), and Nazareth.

The religious people started to dislike Jesus because he claimed to be GOD, and they asked the Roman governor Pilate to authorize his execution, and he did.

Jesus was tortured and executed on a wooden cross. Three days later Jesus rose from the dead and amazed the people of Israel by his return. Now, may people believe in Jesus and wish they could be saved by him.
