How does Jesus want to care for the people of Jerusalem (Israel), and how do they respond?
Jesus wants to care for the people of Jerusalem like a mother who wants to gather  her children together but the people of Israel kill the prophets and stone those who are sent to her.

Jesus answers that to be saved, it is not enough for the person to know the Lord, rather the Lord needs to know the person. What does this mean?
It means that a person may know the Lord but if he does not follow his teachings nor obey his commandments he will not be saved because the Lord needs to know the person, that is to say, the Lord knows who obeys his words and teachings and loves his Son Jesus.

Jesus small beginnings grew to have a major effect. What seemingly small things in your life can grow over time to have a big effect?
I think that doing my Bible assignment every day can grow over time (and now  too) to have a big effect in my life because I am learning a lot about Jesus and I have more faith in Him.

People often blame God for allowing suffering, but who does Jesus hold responsible for this woman`s suffering?

According to Jesus satan holds responsible for this woman's suffering. Satan is always around us treating to convince us that reading the Bible and following God's word is not good for us.

Jesus confirms that certain suffering is not linked to one`s behavior. What does Jesus warn about the suffering (punishment) that is linked to one`s behavior?
I think Jesus wants that we understand that everybody has time to be happy and time to be sad in life, specially when a disease appears or for money problemas, but it does not mean that God punishes us but that we are on earth so we have to wait until going to heaven.
