May 05, 2008 Why did Peter begin to sink when he became afraid? When is it wrong to be afraid?Peter shifted his focuse off Jesus and placed it on the storm, which generated fear in him. Fear ties the hand of God for setting in to our situation. Once there is fear, it signifies that we place Satan above God. God is a jealous God. He made all things and declared to us in many places, fear not. If we refuse to obey His command, we sin. He said fear not. Simple obedience. fear not. Any time a child of God shifts his focuse off God and places it on the situation troubling him, there is the bound to give in to the spirit of fear. leading to sin. God said, fear not, no matter how terrible the situation may prove itself to be, can never ever change the command of GOD, Fear not!!!. Be still and know that I am God. He is great I AM. THE LORD OF All lords. Fear is sin and disobedience to God's command.Fear is the only weapon Satan has and used it for all these years. It is high time we Christians make Satan loose the potential of that his old weapon namely fear. Now can you tell me what happen when you are asleep" If you were to die, will you know" Once God is able to protect you in your sleep,. will He not do the same when you are awake" Why the fear" |

March 15, 2008 Why was it important for Jesus to go through a time of temptation?Jesus explained this surfering or temptation to those disciples He met on the way of Emmaus. luke 24:25-26, And He said to them, O foolish men and slow in heart to believe in all that the prophets have said! was it not necessary for the Christ to surffer these things and enter into His glory" It was very necessary for Jesus to go through a time of temptation inorder to achieve his goal. Nothing just happen, everything that happens has a purpose, His temptation has a purpose, and the purpose is to surffer to redeem man from the grip of Satan. And also for Jesus to enter His glory. |
